蹤獲弝け College Leadership Academy class of spring 2024

More than 20 蹤獲弝け staff members participated in 蹤獲弝け College Leadership Academy, a semester-long professional development program for emerging College leaders. Not shown are Michael McPhillips and  Christopher Emdin. The program was organized by Human Resources in collaboration with Bishop House Consulting.

Jason Breves, professor of biology, published a review article, "Endocrine control of gill ionocyte function in euryhaline fishes," in the .

Darren Drabek, associate director of admissions and coordinator of international student recruitment, presented at the sixth annual China Institute of College Admission Counseling (ChinaIACAC) held in Dongguan, China. Drabek and colleagues from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School, and InitialView presented a session titled "Establishing Trust: Strategies for Newer High Schools in College Admissions."

Michael Dunn, assistant professor of management and business, Clea O'Neil 24, and Heba Salman 25 won the "Best Paper Award" at the Academy of Management's Careers Division Conference in April.

Jeff Segrave, professor of health and human physiological sciences, and John Cosgrove, resource management and outreach and humanities librarian, published "Sport in the Cartoons of Charles Addams and Gary Larson: A Theatre of Ludic Absurdity" in Studies in American Humor.

Charmaine Willis, visiting assistant professor of political science, was elected to the executive boards of the New York State Political Science Association and the Education and Learning in International Affairs Section (ELIAS) of the International Studies Association.


Submissions to the Faculty-Staff Achievements section will not be accepted over the summer and will be accepted again in the fall.

Tingwon, installed just outside the Colleges Saisselin Art Building, was gifted to the College by sculptor Fitzhugh Karol 04 and marks a meaningful full-circle moment in his career an offering to the institution that helped shape him.
