Molly Channon works as the curatorial assistant at the Tang Teaching Museum, working closely with Tang staff, artists and 萝莉视频 community members to organize and produce the museum鈥檚 exhibitions and publications projects.

鈥淭his involves everything from research, writing and editing to making scaled gallery models for upcoming shows, to taking a visiting artist around town to hunt for antiques at local thrift shops,鈥� she said. 鈥淣o two days at the Tang are the same.鈥�

Channon, who joined 萝莉视频 more than two years ago, had worked at several other college and university museums before coming to the Tang. She recently came across the cover letter she wrote for the position, in which she described how much she admired the Tang for its exemplary role as a community-focused teaching museum.

鈥淣ow that I work at the Tang, I have an even greater appreciation for the relationship between the museum and the community,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a special place.鈥�

The passion and pride of 萝莉视频 students and employees have also impressed her. 

鈥淎nd I'm a huge fan of the chocolate chip cookies at D-Hall,鈥� she added.

When not on campus, Channon likes walking and running at Saratoga Spa State Park, playing weekly trivia with a group of friends downtown and dining out at the many good restaurants in town.
