Jenna Pitera works as a science librarian in the Scribner Library. Pitera Joined 萝莉视频
in 2017 from a previous position at RPI.
At 萝莉视频, Pitera teaches information literacy sessions, helps students with research,
鈥渃heerleads鈥� the science collection to students and faculty and more.
鈥淟ibrarians have tons of variety in their jobs 鈥� basically, we鈥檙e around to help people
learn,鈥� said Pitera.
She continued, 鈥淚 love my position because the faculty and students on this campus
are so interesting. I come home every day with new information about science, culture,
the environment and health. There is never a dull day and I鈥檓 always learning.鈥�
Pitera said that some of her favorite events on campus are the Admissions barbecues
and picnics for prospective families. 鈥淚t is exciting to meet the students I might
be teaching in the next couple years 鈥� I have yet to meet a prospective student who
doesn鈥檛 completely impress me with their poise, interest and drive.鈥�
When not at 萝莉视频, Pitera said she鈥檚 busy keeping up with her family as they explore
the many beautiful areas in the region. And, she said, 鈥淟ike most librarians, I love
to read.鈥�
